It seems just the other day we were sending out last years newsletter and yet here we are mid-way through December with 2024 all but wrapped up.
Outside of global conflict and turmoil, the past year has seen an intense focus on AI and Machine learning with a plethora of apps such as generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT making their mark.
At face value, this can be quite daunting but it offers a lot of opportunity for businesses to take data transformation and automation to the next level.
But, a lot of businesses don’t realise that technology such as BOTS has been around for a long time with apps like Lotus123 having Macros as far back as the 80’s that would update fields and processes based on certain conditions (responses) within spreadsheets.
In 2025 our technical sessions will be focussed on demystifying the hype around new Tech Acronyms. They will be giving practical benefits on how they can be used to automate and streamline your business, ultimately saving costs.
We will also create a Digital Transformation Division that will consult on business automation as a whole, whether inside or outside your ERP solution.
This year we have written various apps for clients from Offline Deliveries (in English and Afrikaans), to Fault Logging for Field Services and Customer In-Store Orders all aimed at improving customer service and decreasing costs.
At the end of the day the technology is available, it’s more about clients identifying the “problem or limitation” and together we will design the solution.
