Welcome to Cadence, our monthly update for Acumatica customers and those thinking about making the upgrade to Acumatica Cloud ERP.

This month we focus on more of the new features available in Acumatica 2024R1 and also report back on the Acumatica Africa Event held on the 16^th to 18^th April at the Indaba Hotel, Johannesburg where we showcased some really game-changing products which you can read about below.

MONTHLY TECH UPDATE – FOCUS ON ECOMMERCE

The April Tech Update held on the 18^th April 2024 was well attended and we did a deep dive into the word of eCommerce including a fascinating history from the founder of SafariNow.com and his journey into the modern era with Shopify and insights into the game-changing technology from SaaS Integrator from Brisbane, Australia.

ACUMATICA AFRICA – 16 – 18 APRIL 2024

Acumatica Africa Summit 2024 was held from the 16^th to 18^th April at the revamped Indaba Conference Centre in Fourways, Johannesburg. Over 200 attendees heard from some of the senior management from Acumatica HQ based in Washington State, USA including Chief Revenue Officer, Sanket Akerkar and CJ Boguszewski, SVP Parter Programs.

Some of the topics covered included the Acumatica focus on Africa as a strategic growth area and the high level of customer satisfaction in Africa.

The picture below illustrated the very high Net Promoter Score of over 40 we achieved here in 2023 (mainly Sub-Saharan Africa) showing a very positive degree of customer satisfaction, high growth and a very low customer churn rate.

REPEAT - WHAT’S HOT IN ACUMATICA 2024R2

Acumatica Unveils Redesigned UI, Touts Cross-Industry Capabilities and Celebrates Customer Growth.

We saw the new Acumatica user interface (UI), featuring a new design and controls that enhance usability, deliver unmatched personalization and improve customization.

Some of the New features and functionality in 2024 R1 include:

An AP Bill Link in Proforma, a new side panel for AP Bill selection and the ability to easily view an attached transaction image, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments and increased billing accuracy.
The ability to report parallel operations, enabling manufacturers to manage production orders with the flexibility to report operations out of sequence and multiple operations simultaneously.
Access to distribution requirements planning (DRP) functionality, helping non-manufacturers, particularly distributors, manage inventory supply and demand and plan kitting with material requirements planning (MRP) and DRP.
An enhanced Managed Sales Allocation process, delivering more control and flexibility over the order allocation process to customers. Distributors will benefit from consolidated views of allocations, enhanced selection criteria and improved ability to handle backorders efficiently within the same system.
The general availability of Amazon entirely in Acumatica, including additional features like “Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA) inventory reconciliation” and “Amazon statement reconciliation.” These features will enable companies to streamline and ensure the accuracy of Amazon transactions.
Support for Gmail now available from Acumatica if required.
Enable additional workflow capabilities and automate with intelligence by triggering actions through business events.
